FAQs

Q: What work is done to a tractor before shipping?

A: When a tractor arrives in our workshop the engine, transmission, hydraulic system, steering, brakes and electrical system are all carefully checked for any faults and all worn or missing parts are replaced or repaired. Thus, for example, if the engine is found to be worn it is fully reconditioned with new pistons, liners, gaskets, etc. The tractor is then thoroughly tested before repainting to a high standard. A final check is carried out by a qualified engineer before releasing the tractor for delivery. The pictures of tractors shown on this web site are all examples of tractors that we have prepared to this standard. If you would like us to supply tractors prepared to a different standard then please contact us for a quote.

Q: How can I be sure that my money is safe and that the items that I have ordered will be dispatched after I have made payment?

A: Dumelow International Limited is a long established company that has been supplying reconditioned tractors to Africa and elsewhere since 1996. Please feel free to check out our company registration by visiting the Companies House web site where all reputable British Companies are registered. We are not about to tarnish our long established reputation by letting you down as we depend on recommendations from satisfied clients and expect to continue trading worldwide for many years to come.

Q: How long after making payment will my goods be dispatched?

A: Parts orders are normally dispatched either the same day or the day after receipt of payment. Orders for new implements are normally dispatched within seven days. Tractors are prepared to order and this therefore takes longer. Normally, we need about six to eight weeks, but this may vary depending on what other orders we have at the time. If this is of concern then please check with us before placing your order.

Q: How much are shipping costs

A: Providing that you enter your address details correctly on our web site, shipping costs are computed automatically for parts orders. For tractors and implements please contact us for a quote.

Q: Can you ship to Kenya?

A: Yes. We can ship to almost any country worldwide.
